I'm in my 2nd year of a Wharton MBA and interested in career options in the energy industry. I don't have much background in the field but spent 3 weeks in Kenya over summer researching carbon trading and advising an NGO on how to enter the market. I'm looking for additional work in the renewable energy space either as a pro bono consulting case or as a research initiative.

I am currently a Community Economic Development Peace Corp volunteer in a small village, Pedro Sanchez, in the Dominican Republic. My main project is the creation, preparation, and coordination of a grassroots Ecotourism site. This is an initiative of the Untied Nations along with the DR government. Although there are quite a few well developed international development organizations involved in this initiative, the resources are limited. I am wondering if any of the members have worked at the grassroots level in Ecotousim. If so, please reply to my wall so we can further discuss effective resources.
